Laguna Humantay 1-Day Tour

This route is ideal for nature lovers who have limited time but will encounter spectacular landscapes with exotic flora and fauna throughout this adventure hike through beautiful valleys and snowy mountains, especially the Humantay Lagoon, considered one of the most sacred mountains and lagoons in the region.

ITINERARY

Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa – Humantay Lake:

We will pick you up at your respective hotel between 4:45 to 5:30 am. After that, we’ll travel in our private transport to the town of Mollepata, located in the lush Apurímac River valley. Following a well-deserved breakfast to fuel up, we’ll continue our journey to Soraypampa (3,900 meters above sea level).

After a short rest, we’ll begin our hike to Humantay Lake, situated at 4,200 meters (13,779 feet). After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of ascent, we will reach this wonderful location and then return to our camp for lunch, enjoying beautiful panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks.

Later, you’ll be transferred back to our city of Cusco, and we’ll drop you off in the city center, near the main Plaza de Armas.

  • Bring a copy of the Andean Immigration Card (TAM), which will be given to you upon entering Peru.

  • Payment of 50% of the tour cost.
